Online advertising part 2 & Conclusion

Advertising online has its own set of advantages over traditional which are what make it popular.

Advantages: Through online mediums companies can reach a lot of people for less amount of money when compared to traditional methods. Internet ads are ideal to use when trying to reach an international audience.
Through social media word of mouth advertising is taken to a whole new level where people recommend products to over a thousand of their "closest friends". When ads are put onto YouTube a person can revisit and watch it as many times as they would like, whenever or wherever its there to see.

I only touched the tip of the iceberg throughout these posts, there is a huge advertising world out there, internet advertising is still in its early days and one can only wonder what the future holds.



Even with the switch to online, traditional forms of advertising aren't going anywhere yet. A brand can never have to much awareness and with all the ways we can reach different audiences in the world, theoretically companies should continue to grow and be prosperous.
